Indianapolis Welcomes Querétaro As Its 10th Sister City

 

 

COLUMBUS, IN, US – JANUARY 24, 2023 – LER TechForce is excited to share that the city of Indianapolis has chosen a new sister city partnership with Querétaro, Mexico.

LER TechForce is pleased that Indianapolis has joined in recognizing the benefits and advantages of having strong ties with this community. With the continued growth of our business presence in Mexico and the previous establishment of our own offices and workforce in Querétaro, LER TechForce has established a significant presence in the region. This growing area will continue to present opportunities for LER TechForce to provide engineering resources that meet the demands of transportation OEMs and their suppliers.

The Indianapolis Sister Cities International program is devoted to promoting Indianapolis as a global city. Local leaders have identified many similarities between Indianapolis and Querétaro, and this partnership reflects Indy's large Latino population.

A sister-city relationship encompasses language, cultural heritage, artistic contributions, and immersion in a community's social experiences. Querétaro will represent Indy's 10th sister city, joining Taipei, Taiwan; Cologne, Germany; Monza, Italy; Piran, Slovenia; Hangzhou, China; Campinas, Brazil; Northamptonshire County, UK; Hyderabad, India; and Onitsha, Nigeria.
